Slobodan Mirić

Slobodan Mirić is an IT expert who, in addition to creating websites and applications for clients, is also engaged in education in the fields of web development (both frontend and backend) and digital marketing. His IT journey began in 2015, and in 2016, he founded "Websites Workshop," now a platform dedicated to training in programming and web design. Through his projects, he has trained thousands of students, focusing on practical, hands-on experience where trainees work on real client websites.

Slobodan actively shares his knowledge through his blog, Diary of a Programmer, a podcast of the same name, and the Websites Workshop podcast, along with tutorials on YouTube. In 2025, he will celebrate his first decade in the IT industry, working as both a web designer and programmer, as well as a digital marketing expert specializing in platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

His teaching lives on through his work with clients from Serbia, Croatia, the USA, Germany, England, and Canada. Besides his professional work, he organizes events, primarily focused on WordPress, but also on creative and IT industry topics in general. Notably, he organized WordCamp Apatin 2023. WordCamps are events organized by WordPress communities worldwide, bringing together users and developers under the auspices of the WordPress Foundation in San Francisco. These conferences offer opportunities for learning, networking, and sharing knowledge related to WordPress.
