§2 Data collection and processing
Participant administration
We collect personal data for the organisation of the Drupal Camp Novi Sad 2024 event. Specifically, this concerns personal data of conference visitors, including:
- First name
- Surname
- email address
- T-shirt size
Persons affected by this will be listed as "attendees" or "users" in the following. We store this information on our IT system. The personal data is protected by suitable technical and organisational measures to prevent third parties from gaining knowledge of it.
§3 Use of the data and recipients of the data
Data is transferred to third parties exclusively for the fulfilment of contracts that are directly related to data collection.
§4 Purpose and legal basis of data collection, processing or use
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6, para. 1, lit. b) GDPR, as the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a contractual relationship - here: Membership in the association - is required. The main purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data is member support and administration as well as the pursuit of the association's objectives and the achievement of the association's purpose. Due to its membership in the aforementioned associations and organisations, the association is obliged to transmit the data to them. The processing of the data is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our association (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). For the collection of further personal data and for such data that is to be published in the association's publications and/or online media, a written declaration of consent is obtained from the event attendee in accordance with Art. 7 GDPR. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent). For this purpose, a opt in must be selected by the attendee. The decision to collect and publish further personal data is made voluntarily by the member. The member can revoke their consent at any time in text form to the Team without any adverse consequences for the future

§5 Deletion and blocking of personal data
We process and store personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or if this has been provided for by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject. If the purpose of storage ceases to apply or if a storage period prescribed by the European Directive and Regulation Giver or another competent legislator expires, the personal data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
§6 Your rights
Users or participants of events have the right to information from the Team about the stored data as well as to their correction and deletion (unless Art. 6, para. 1, lit. b) or lit. f) GDPR is affected). This also applies to a restriction of data processing or an objection to data transmission. A corresponding request must be submitted to the Executive Board in text form.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
§7 Right of objection and cancellation
Requests for information, correction and deletion as well as the revocation or objection regarding the further use of the data possibly given to us can be declared informally as follows:
